  • The Digital Raster Acquisition Project Eastern Ontario (DRAPE) 2 metre Digital Surface Model (DSM) and Digital Terrain Model (DTM) products were generated using 2014 Classified LAS data (4/28/2014 - 06/07/2014). This product has been resampled to 30 metres. The products are provided by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. For more information please visit: https://www.sse.gov.on.ca/sites/MNR-PublicDocs/EN/CMID/DRAPE%202014%20DSM-DTM%20-%20User%20Guide.pdf. • The airborne Single Photon Lidar (SPL) data were acquired in July, 2018 to support Enhanced Forest Inventory (EFI) research and development objectives. The original LAS data are provided by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and can be used to create standard products, such as Digital Terrain Models and Canopy Height Models, as well as a variety of lidar metrics. These metrics can in turn be used in concert with ground plot data to generate area-based models that estimate forest attributes such as top height, biomass, basal area, and more. This is a digital elevation model (DEM) with a 50 cm spatial resolution and is a raster-based representation of terrain surface elevations. • ALS data were acquired 2005-09-04 using the Leica ALS40 airborne laser scanner flown at an altitude of 2740 m with a ± 20 degree field of view and a maximum pulse repetition frequency of 32 kHz. The average sampling density was 0.46 points per square metre. The data uses the NAD83 (CSRS) / UTM Zone 18N horizontal datum and the vertical datum is CGVD28. The data included in this package have been harmonized with other ALS acquisitions at PRF to enable height growth assessment. Details on the harmonization approach applied are provided in Riofrio et al (2022). DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.1139/cjfr-2022-0055.
